We are looking for dedicated and passionate volunteers to help support our mission and contribute to meaningful impact in our community.

 

At Dementia Capable CARES our mission is to empower and engage the business community by fostering education, understanding, compassion, and inclusivity; creating a community equipped to support those living with brain change, their care partners and the aging population.

  • Free and discounted tickets to DCC’s larger community events

 

Your membership dues allow our Education Team to further DCC’s mission by hosting workshops and training sessions with businesses and individuals on how to recognize the signs of dementia and serve seniors with excellence.  It also gives DCC opportunities to host our popular Brain Health Summit, Annual Pie Fundraiser, and more!  The entire Advisory Council is made up of volunteers who are passionate about creating dementia friendly spaces.

As part of our third initiative, we collaborate with healthcare professionals and organizations to enhance dementia care practices and promote inclusivity in healthcare settings.

Our fourth initiative involves partnering with educational institutions to integrate dementia education into their programs, ensuring that future professionals are prepared to provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia.

Yearly Membership Fee: $75 per organization beginning January 1, 2026   Ready to join?
